Frequently Asked Questions (Q&A)
- Our services will continue in the new company
Why was the company declared bankrupt?
The over 6100 m2 main office of the event center Ruoholahti OASIS Ltd (formerly Business Meeting Park Ltd) was located in a property that has been decided to be demolished for residential use. As a result, the company's business operations ended, and finally the company was declared bankrupt at its own request.
Will Meeting Park's business operations continue despite the bankruptcy?
Yes. Our services will continue through the new location-specific companies owned by Meeting Park Group Ltd. The concept, brand and systems are the group's, so the customer experience will remain unchanged.
What will happen to old reservations?
All reservations related to the Ruoholahti OASIS location ended in June 2025. These have been announced separately.
New reservations and agreements are made through Meeting Park Group Ltd, and our staff will assist in transferring them to new locations.
What about advance payments and invoices?
Any payments made before the Bankruptcy are subject to the Bankruptcy estate's processing. We will inform customers separately about the Bankruptcy estate's contact information.
If the reservation is transferred to a new company, we will separately agree on a possible refund or new invoicing arrangement.
When will the new location open?
The first new location, Meeting Park DOMUS, will open on October 6, 2025 in Kamppi, Helsinki, at Mechelininkatu 3 C, the former premises of Aalto EE. The location will be managed by BMP Group Ltd (later Meeting Park DOMUS Ltd).
We are also preparing several other locations, which we will inform about later.
Will the quality of service or operating model change?
No. Meeting Park Group Ltd will continue to operate as Meeting Park's central service company, and our service processes and quality standards will remain at least unchanged. In the future, all customers' monthly and framework agreements will be concluded with Meeting Park Group Ltd and they will be valid in all Meeting Park locations, regardless of the operating company - unless otherwise stated in the agreement. Location-specific lease agreements will be concluded with the subsidiary operating the location, which will also take care of, among other things, the location's purchases and other acquisitions and invoicing.
